To control the dimensions of pipelines, at ITP Service we conduct smart pipeline inspections using a Caliper Pig propelled by compressed air or process gas.
Thanks to this tool, we can evaluate the internal geometry of pipelines and detect a wide range of abnormalities: ovalisation, dents, crushes, welding, thickness changes, insulating joints and valves, etc. Once the smart inspection has finished, we analyse the results and issue the final report.
