Once the hydrostatic stress and leak testing have finalised, the pipeline is depressurised and emptied.

To undertake pipeline dewatering, we at ITP Service use bi-directional pipeline pigs prior to the filling and calibration operations. The pipeline pig is propelled from the test head receiver up to the initial position in the test head launcher, injecting air as a means of propulsion.
